Jerry Velasco

Jerry Velasco has spent a great deal of his career in a larger spectrum of visual design. Recently he focuses on digital work but print has also been a passion to cherish.

As a child he loved looking at gas station logos, like Shell and Sinclair:

Print work traditionally focused on how something appeared. With interactivity, there is a an emphasis on how something behaves in addition to how it looks. Most of my work is focused towards a creative method to  produce a measurable outcome for a particular touchpoint (web, print, app, social, etc.) targeting a specific user within a specific journey.

Jerry fell in love with the notion of applying the biometric rules of Fibonacci to UX in general and further applying branding and design. Fibonacci is a core principal to his approach of all design. “It is important to design expressly for humans, behavior patterns and harmonic relationships.” – Jerry Velasco
